Fees
There are no costs for junior clinics or tournaments but participants must be dues paying junior members of the club. Junior tournaments are also open to any junior member aged 7 - 18 who has not paid their full play dues but are required to pay a $20 entrance fee per event. Only Junior Full Play members will receive points towards the season ending Cowan's Cup.
Age Groups
- Boys 7-9
- Boys 10-12
- Boys 13-18**
- Girls
**Players must be 18 years of age or younger as of June 30, 2010 to play this season.
Birthdays
If your birthday occurs during the season, your age group is determined by your age on the last day of each event. All points are carried forward and used in the junior's new age division.
Advanced Players
All players can choose to play up one division ahead of their age in a season (ie. A 12 year old can elect to play Boys 13-18), however players must remain in the higher division for the rest of the season.
Points will be accumulated using the following format:
Tournament Points
The same points program will be used as last year. The first place person will get the point value for as many participants in there age category for each event. For example: if there are 10 kids that play in the 7-9 age category then first place will get 10 points and the last place will get 1 point. The more participants that show up, the more points available.
The Junior Club Championship is worth double point value.
Participation points
Junior Clinics = every participant gets a point for every clinic they participate in.
